Silvermine Distribution began in 2017 and consists of a core team of outdoor enthusiasts who bootstrapped the company believing that there was a place in the Southern African market for quality product offerings to the outdoor market.

Initially, the company was exclusively focused on the Raidlight brand of trail-running equipment, apparel and shoes, and this product has proven to be a viable alternative to the previously established brands in the local market. Through this initial association and by spending more time in the outdoors space we began to identify additional specialty brands that were suitable for our market.
